Has an earlier Form I-485 been denied or treated as abandoned?
Is there abuse, pressure, or a safety concern that could make it unsafe to involve the spouse who filed Form I-130?
Have you overstayed, broken the rules of your immigration status, or worked without authorization?

A Yes answer does not automatically prevent every spouse of a U.S. citizen from filing, but you must answer accurately.
